The Natchez Trace Parkway Bridge is a concrete double arch bridge located 8.7 miles from the Natchez Trace Parkway's northern terminus in Williamson County, Tennessee. It's 1,572 feet long and carries the two-lane Natchez Trace Parkway 145 feet above State Route 96 and into a densely forested valley.
Driving down Highway 96, the vista of the bridge is breathtaking. Walking down the bridge from the nearby parking lot is well worth the trip if you want to see this lovely portion of Middle Tennessee.

The Natchez Trace became a key commerce route between the eastern states and the southern frontier after the construction of the John Coffee Memorial Bridge. It was the sole viable land route between the eastern United States and Mississippi and Louisiana commerce ports along the Mississippi River.
