The Frist Art Museum, formerly known as the Frist Center for the Visual Arts, is a contemporary art museum in Nashville, Tennessee, housed in the city's historic U.S. Bank Building. The National Register of Historic Places has listed the Post Office building.
Demonbreun Street, between 9th and 10th Avenues, is where you can park for the Frist Art Museum. In the northeast corner of the Frist Art Museum parking lot, there are accessible parking spaces, as well as a barrier-free walkway and entry into the Turner Courtyard through an entrance marked with an accessibility sign.
Through the benevolent Frist Foundation, Thomas F. Frist, Jr., M.D., and his family pledged to spearhead the drive to establish a center.
While we thank anyone who wish to donate us art, the Frist Art Museum does not have a permanent collection and so does not accept or acquire art.
