Montgomery Bell State Park, located in Burns, Tennessee, is a Tennessee state park. The park is 3,782 acres in size and sits at a height of 758 feet. Actual altitudes in the Nashville Basin range from 580 feet to 860 feet due to the fragmented woody terrain. Boating, hiking, camping, fishing, and golf are all available year-round at the park.
The park is open all year and has 20-, 30-, and 50-amp electric service. Most electrical sites can accommodate 60-foot campers. There are 47 sites with water and electricity, 40 sites with onsite sewer that can accommodate everything from pop-up tents to huge RVs, and 22 tent-only campsites.
Only Lodge and cabin guests have access to the outdoor pool at The Lodge at Montgomery Bell. From Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day weekend, the pool is open. At the pool, there are no lifeguards on duty, so swim at your own risk.
The Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation bans the consumption of booze in state parks unless it takes place on a golf course or within a facility licensed to sell alcohol.
