Pinkerton Park is a 34-acre municipal park in Franklin, Tennessee, United States, located at 405 Murfreesboro Road, near downtown Franklin, east of the Harpeth River. A mile-long paved walking track runs through the park, with workout equipment positioned at various spots along the trail.
The trail is open all year and is popular for strolling, running, bird watching, and road riding. This trail is also open to dogs, although they must be kept on a leash. Pinkerton Park is surrounded by a paved loop. There includes a playground, open green area, and Fort Granger educational signs.
There are facilities at Pinkerton Park, as well as a pedestrian bridge that spans the Harpeth River. Children have access to two playgrounds, one of which, Tinkerbell playground, is self-contained. The most popular park in the Franklin Park system is Pinkerton Park.
