In 2006, Harlinsdale Farm was added to the National Register of Historic Places as a 198-acre historic district in Franklin, Tennessee. It was created around 1900, with key dates between 1935 and 1945. The property's main horse stable, which is the property's focal point, was completed in 1935.
The Parks Department has placed Blue Gill, Grass Carp, and Catfish hatchlings in the Pond at The Park at Harlinsdale Farm. By early spring, the fish should be ready to be caught after acclimating to their new home.
Harlinsdale remained in the Harlin family's possession until 2004, when it was sold for $8 million to the City of Franklin. The farm is now a park open to the public. Horse shows are still held at Harlinsdale Farm.
K-9 Korral is located at Harlinsdale Farm's Park and allows dogs to have off-leash fun in an enclosed area. Bring your dog out for a play date and let him or her run around! Open every day from dawn to dusk.
